bowling trip with parents on labour day:
i keep trying to do the stance of those professional bowlers. i mean, the ball is so damn heavy yet they have a graceful way of letting the ball go. but this sport is so expensive! no budget to turn pro in it haha. speaking of bowling, i remembered a riddle maria asked me:
qns: whats the difference between a bowling ball and a pi sai (nose shit)?
ans: one you throw first and it rolls, the other you roll first and then you throw!

after school on friday went to westmall with some of the soccerettes to eat lunch and shop. we lingered there for so long, we finally got tired and sat at the benches outside sportslink. we felt much sympathy towards the ice cream stall which was really situated at a blind spot. no customers at all! i wonder how long more before it closes down! the boss doesnt have much of a business mind. but anyway, i spotted a gerrard, kaka and messi adidas advertisement outside sportslink and i had to get a shot with my inspiration.
apparently, brenda said that the hand (kaka's) behind gerrard was gerrard's jealous gay lover! -____- haha. PLEASE! i would so totally win hands down if i were to compete with a gay for gerrard.
gosh, i swear steven gerrard is so hot, I WANT TO MAKE LOVE WITH HIM! hahaha. his wife is so lucky laaarrr.
after stagnating at westmall for dont know how long, we finally moved on to brenda's house. we tricked jingwen that we going brenda's ahma house so we left her to take the bus at the interchange alone. then the rest of all walked to the next bus stop to give her a surprise! haha. felt so erms, carefree at bren's house because we were not under the watchful eyes of parents. its like we're back at chalet!
jingwen went home for dinner and the aroma of her sumptous meal drifted all the way to the lift's corridor. she got to eat crab while the rest of us feast on biscuits and instant mashed potato later. how nice. haha.
at bren's house, only a few doors away from jingwen. we were all wrecking havoc with the karaoke set. especially yiting who made me so tickled, i really couldnt stand it. she mimic the voice of those RC get tai emcee and made us all laughed so hard. furthermore, she was wearing her yellow and black class tee which made her looked super like bruce lee lar. when jingwen came along, things got more high as elaine, me and her started dancing to those pop songs and talented huiying sang along. crazy night and it made me pine very much for chalet with the soccerettes. the indian neighbour on the left even opened her door twice to checked out what was the din all about! although the second time, the noise was very much caused by jingwen;s overexcited happy coming to visit us. haha.
then when bren's family came home, we had no choice but to put our craziness on hold. moral of story: never put a group of females under one roof :)
woke up for final match against ijc on saturday. wasnt the least bit nervous unlike the previous matches. only conviction was that the soccerettes got to win it for coach. furthermore, i was very excited because it was dear theresa's birthday and i couldnt wait to celebrate it for her. gosh, the whole soccer team are all turning 18 already. except for me! :(
match went very well, with final score of 5-2 to us! xianwen's shot was damn powerful and nice, it sent us all crying for joy! so proud of her performance :) theresa was very motivated to run and defend her territory too! good job baby! your wish for us to win this really came true!
brenda and jasmine were very good performers at the field, if you know what i mean. the getting injured part. haha.
our team has all the ablity to make it work. sometimes though, things just dont go as plan. but its alright. we're still champions :) and we know it.
celebrated theresa's birthday at the grandstand with junior jingwen too! couldnt smash cake on theresa's face because her SAR said that smashing cake is wasting food. haha. but it was fun taking photos with the whole team and her. especially our kissing scences with four takes becuase jasmine kept disturbing lixuan, our photographer. our last photo really had our lips touching each other! yummy! hahaha.
after 3 hours of celebration and dily 'daring' (haha), we managed to set foot at imm for SUBWAY! lixuan said she was 'stuffing' to death already (lol). one whole section of subway was taken up by the soccerettes because it was j1s and 2s combine. we really bring business to food chains haha. as we were eating halfway, this very hot guy and his girlfriend sat at a table next to us. he was wearing a man u jacket, which made lixuan and brenda smiled. and he was really hot, because of his euarasian look. but of course, cannot be compared to steven gerrard! but he's still hot and i couldnt help but steal glances at him once in awhile haha.
the rest then continued shopping at imm after lunch, while elaine joanne and i left for home. for a small girl like joanne, she sure attracts alot of guys haha. and i hope elaine's ankle is recovering very soon! poor sweetheart!
i think all soccerettes will suffer when we grow old because we got all sorts of leg and body injuries, which unfortunately, seems impossible to recover. and speaking of that, yiting's poor nose got abit broken and swollen because she kena knee(ed) by an ijc player when she dived to catch the ball. power! yet another badge of honour haha. she's so steady and gungho can!
so home i went to bathe and nap for awhile, before setting off to the Singapore Flyer with my family. one ticket is $30 (!) and my whole family, including my maid went. daddy spent a bomb. but it was a rather nice experience. my granny was abit frightened to enter the flyer though haha.
i want to whine about my body shade! my arms have two different colours because of soccer! forearm so tan then the rest is so fair! gosh!
this baby girl here, called hannah, is only 5 months old. she's so adorable and really make you go gaga over her. she keeps laughing as my granny and i played with her. and she laughed so much she got hiccups after that. baby hiccups sound so cute, i cant get enough of hearing it. lucky jasmine wasnt there to see the cute baby girl. if not, she will definitely go crazy.
introduced popeye's to family and we had dinner there. they enjoyed it so much, saying how much better it tasted than compared to kfc. haha. it was noi who first introduced this fast food to me :')
so anyway, the trip in the capsule, up the flyer was rather breathtaking. got to see some islands off singapore, though dont know what they are called haha. and when i looked down, the construction of the F1 routes can also been seen rather clearly too! of course, there's also a bird's eye view of the construction of the IR. then you can see the future reservior of Singapore too. man, this country looks really different from the Flyer. Its really beautiful! and at the highest peak, i guess you'll be as high as the highest building of singapore! we went in the evening at abou 630 and the ride was about half an hour. it was an enjoyable expereince overall. furthermore, the service of the many staff members there was really top notch. Really really good service :) like my granny is on the wheelchair, and they'll help to push her and stuff :)
