HAPPY LEAP YEAR!
its the last day of feb and march is approaching in 3 hours' time. the arrival of march also signifies a hole in my wallet! we have here, 6 soccer march babies!!! i cant wait to celebrate their birthdays just like how we did for the 4 feb babies :)yes. most of the soccer girls except tzer and me, are born in the first half of the year. unfortunately for me, i'm the youngest in my team, and so, i'm the LAST ONE TO TURN 18! and on a heavier note, turning 18 for me will not be much of a joyous affair because we will all be sitting for As already! but still, october is my favourite month :)
celebrating connie's, chai's, yiting's and huiying's birthdays in feb had been a LOUD and very very high activity. hahaha. yiting teared on her birthday, and she made me almost cried too. gosh, i love my team. anyway so far, we had not got to the extend of sabotaging the birthday girl with whip cream and stuff. BUT that doesnt mean we wouldnt, so the march babies should really watch out *cheeky grins*
recently, i realised that i can be quite a mean person. its like, i make fun of certain people behind their backs, even though they had done nothing wrong to me, and may even be a friend. a hi-bye friend of course, but nevertheless, still a friend, whom i do make small talks with at times. they do have certain bad habits which irked me, such as digging one's nose so openly in public, which caused me to behave in such a undesirable manner. but each time i laughed or teased them, i would feel very guilty. thats not being a nice person at all, and i would definitely be very miserable if someone does likewise behind my back. whats more, i would join in with others in the teasing as well. gosh, i really have to change in this aspect. i'm sure God doesnt like His child to behave like this :)
participated in a civil defence emergency programme in school yesterday. i find the whole thing pretty useful, especially the cpr drill. learnt cpr in my secondary school days as an npcc cadet, but had more or less forgotten the procedure already. haha. i think i would want to take up first aid course in the future, because accidents always happen, and to be able to provide first hand help may reduce the extent of the injury and even save lives. however, i get nauseous when i see blood and mutilated flesh :/
anway, some jc boys really have not yet grown up. during the cpr drill yesterday, some of them kept making funny and crude remarks. yes, it did made most of us laugh but these remarks nowhere reflects the extra years of education we've undergone. besides, one is surely capable of hilarious yet intellectual comments to entertain the crowd. nevermind, national service is only about one year away from them :)
had a most entertaining afternoon with my darlings today as we waited for jingwen to go for her course. its really all about bringing back our childhood times, and realising that such simple thing can still bring forth countless of joy and laughter into our lives. rented the fishing game from cookie house to play-the game whereby the fishes will go in circles and will open and close its mouth, and players will have to use the small fishing rod and try to hook up as many fishes as possible. i can still remember i used to play it with my sister when i was still a child. we screamed and laughed and cheated (to disturb each other) as we played, trying to outwin each other in hooking up the most fish. hahaha. others look on and whether they think that we are childish or not, its not a bother at all. we're young at heart still! :) then we went in to cookie house and threw darts! i almost got a bullseye!
received this super random msg from chris during econs lesson today:
Never knew i could feel lkie this, like i've never seen e sky before. Wanna vanish inside your kiss. Everyday i love you more n more. Listen to my heart can you hear it sing, telling me to give you everything!
Seasons may change, winter to spring but i love you. You love me until we go wee wee. Come what may.

"It's no secret that women love to talk. We talk about people, places, clothes, movies, and food. We talk about our most intimate secrets: our dreams and worries, hopes and fears. We laugh. We cry. And whenever we're laughing or crying the hardest, you can bet we're talking about just one thing: men." - Rachyl Taylor
